Experiences of Publishing of an Open Access (free) PDF as well as Low Cost Book in Amazon CreateSpace with Dr. Curtis J. Bonk

This book project has been nearly a three-year journey. It is nearly done. After deciding not to use a standard publisher this time, I faced many decisions. I will discuss these decisions and the overall book project, “Adding Some TEC-VARIETY: 100+ Activities for Motivating and Retaining Learners Online.” During this presentation, I will provide a few examples of how to enhance online motivation and retention. Also included will be advice on getting a copyeditor, indexer, proofreading, graphic artist, etc. (book information will appear here in a couple of months: http://tec-variety.com/). By February, the book will be close or completed if not done.

Join the 5th annual Connecting Online conference (CO14) from February 7-9, 2014 for free.
