1. contextual (academic meritocracy, academic value of CALL, myths/hypes and broad-public perception)
2. methodological (design, replication, slow research and transdisciplinarity)
3. epistemological (open, psychological, smart and sustainable aspects)

Jozef Colpaert is Director of R&D, LINGUAPOLIS, at the University of Antwerp Institute for Language and Communication, where he has designed and teaches courses in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Computer Assisted Language Learning and Science Communication, and has designed and teaches the Scientific Reasoning practicum for the Antwerp Doctoral School. He is also editor of the CALL Journal.
