Satisfaction Survey of students participating in blended courses organized by a secondary school through the e-learning platform IWT

The presentation has 13 slides and refers to the results of a survey given to nearly 80 students who attended a battery of blended courses provided in the previous school year at an Italian secondary high school (the ITE L. Amabile). The survey is customer satisfaction type. The survey was divided into 10 questions and was structured into 2 parts. The first 6 questions were used to determine whether:

• pupils consider useful and attractive both the online learning environments both digital contents in blended courses of repairing/development and during the educational trips;
• pupils believe that online learning activities can improve school-family relationship and whether these activities should be integrated into social networking environments like Facebook

The remaining 4 questions of the second part of the survey were designed to have quantitative and qualitative information on the style of e-tutoring in relation
to the participation and attendance of pupils to asynchronous activities, social and community interactions and synchronous and asynchronous interactions between students and e-tutors. Furthermore, these 4 questions in the second part also served to get information about the relationship between teacher and student is changing on the online courses. This survey also served the school in question to improve the organization of departments and to improve the design of blended courses as required by the European Union which has developed frameworks and tools such as EQF, ECVET and Europass.

My name is Antonio Nazzaro. I am passionate about learning and I consider myself a lifelong learner. I have a Mathematics Degree with computer science specialization. I hold university post-graduate specialization in methods of communication and learning on the Internet(University of Florence, Italy).

I researched instructor experiences with implementing technology in blended learning courses in secondary and higher education. I have been teaching Maths and Computer science for 30 years and I have been integrating technology into the curricolar and cross-curricular teaching since the 1995s. I'm also a contract professor at University. I worked in a European dimension such as being, an interchange teaching with J.B. Martinez Palencia ( Spain) Socrates Comenius E.U. program. I was selected by the National Italian Agency in the CLIL- Life Long Learning Program( CLIL Maths & Science group)
I prefer working in group with cooperation and collaboration aim. I worked in: committees, research groups, public institutions and government/ local authorities, etc.
In these contexts, I had coordination and management roles. I am strongly result-oriented.
I was speaker at Conventions organized by universities in Italy and E.U. Countries.
I have excellent competence with all Microsoft Offices programmes and large experience with web mastering, software programming and computer networking.

I attended many seminaries and conferences on Windows/Unix platforms, security and web technologies. I took part in seminars and conferences on ICT AND White Board Interactive as a courser or speaker.
I took part in seminars and conferences on the School in the context EU as a courser or speaker. I am interested in various topics and systems such as multimedia projection film, computerized accounting information systems, security of technology infrastructure
software for the disabled.

I wrote on mathematics / computer science and application of security measures to technological infrastructures books. I am e-tutor and system tutor for: IWT/Moodle. I am head of computer science department and e-former of educators. I am a certified tutor of educators on the use of the White Board Interactive. I was presenter in C011. I mentor educators on how to integrate web 2.0 tools for instruction and learning.

I would like to see e-learning available and free worldwide. I believe in free learning and promote free e-learning through various synchronous and asynchronous environments.
